Maggie and Ronnie

My littlest sister is tying the knot! It's always bitter sweet when a sister gets married. You're thrilled to see someone you love begin a new chapter of their life, but selfishly, simultaneously, you can't bare to give even a portion of the part you still have of them.

Now, she's not only a daughter and a sister, but she's also someone's life partner and soon to be a stepmother. I'm thrilled her life will be full of love, but the bit for me and the rest of our family will be lessened, if only slightly. But, like any big sister, sometimes you just have to wave them off with lots of love...and patiently wait for the day you can drag her off to the same retirement home with you to catch up.

Love you, Maggie! And Ronnie, I can't wait to get to know you better.
